One Page Profile Make and Take Event
an opportunity to positively introduce your child to their new school team
Fri March 1, 2024 – 9:30-11am in person at 7025 Enterprise Way, Windsor
Refreshments provided, limited space. This is an adult-only event
Bring a Picture of your child, we provide all other supplies.
You will leave with 6 colour copies & a file emailed to you for future use

School Entry Events
FREE information sessions for parents, grandparents and guardians. Learn more about the steps to transitioning your son, daughter, grandchild with special education needs into Full Day Kindergarten (FDK). Learn how to partner with educators. Choose from one of two sessions: one on Zoom and one in person.
Evening Session: Thursday, January 25, 2024 – 6:30 to 8:00 pm by ZOOM

Morning Session: Tuesday, January 30, 2024 – 9:30 to 11:00 am in person
- held at 7025 Enterprise Way, Windsor
- Thanks to a Family Engagement Grant from Community Living Ontario we have a Childcare/Respite Worker reimbursement fund available for those who attend in person. When you register, indicate your interest and we will call you to make arrangements for reimbursement

Join us at one of these sessions to listen and ask questions:
- Parents will share their transition to school stories.
- Find out what helped them the most, and about their experience this past year.
- Professionals, one from Children First and another from the John McGivney Children’s Centre School Authority, will speak about the steps involved with school board/agency transition processes.
- A Parent Tips for School Entry and Beyond booklet created by families for families will be reviewed (those who attend either session will receive a PDF version of the booklet; those attending in person are encouraged to take a hard copy of the booklet home with them).
