Membership
Becoming a member supports 
the Vision, Mission, & Beliefs of Windsor-Essex Family Network which you can read here: https://windsoressexfamnet.ca/about/theorganization/ Having a core group of committed members leads to encouragement and inspiration for ‘family network’s team, volunteers and families being supported. Cost for a membership is $15.00 per person. For those who cannot afford a membership, bursaries are available. Note: Membership fees are eligible for a charitable tax receipt, as are any additional donations to the organization. Volunteering
Gifts of time and talent are always welcomed and they make a strong impact! Family-to-Family Mentors – individuals who have a son, daughter, sister or brother living with disability – volunteer to assist another family experiencing a similar situation. See the Family-to-Family section of our website to learn more about being a mentor and the many ways volunteers offer family-to-family support. Family leaders also volunteer time to put together their stories for inspiring others. They are often supported by other families who listen and help create their story. Family-to-family support happens in a variety of ways! Please contact us if you have are interested in becoming a mentor or would like to volunteer in other ways.
Other Volunteer Opportunities: If you have a particular gift or talent you would like to share, we would be interested in hearing from you. Below is a list of some of the opportunities:
- Putting together information packages for events
- Assisting with learning events
- Assistance in the resource library
- Becoming a member of the Board of Directors
- Ad Hoc Groups/Committees
- Speaking at events . . . . . . and more
