DESCRIPTION:Safe & Secure Book Club \nPlanning for the future of a loved one who may need lifelong support can feel overwhelming. The Safe & Secure Book Club is designed to help families take that journey one step at a time\, alongside others who understand. \nThis guided book club will meet for 9 sessions\, working through the Safe & Secure book together. Each session will focus on practical topics such as planning\, building support networks\, understanding options\, and creating greater security for the future. The sessions are meant to be supportive\, informative\, and conversation-based. \nDates of sessions: Every other week for 90 minutes starting April 1\, 2026 and running to July 8\, 2026 \nParticipants who attend the series will receive a copy of the Safe & Secure book if they do not already have one. \nThis book club is intended for families who anticipate that their loved one (of any age) will need ongoing support throughout their life. \nCome learn\, share experiences\, and take meaningful steps toward creating a safe and secure future. \nRegister Here

By choosing the dinner option\, you are also supporting their social enterprise and the important work they do in our community. \n\nCaesar Salad\nGrilled Marinated Chicken Breast (HALAL)\nRoasted Root Veggies\nPasta with Classic Marinara\nBuns with Butter\nBottled Water/Assorted Pop\nCoffee/Tea & Dessert (provided by WEFN)\n\nCost \n\n$25 – Dinner and AGM (current members)\n$45 – Dinner\, AGM\, and a one-year membership\nFree – AGM and speaker only (Members who wish to attend only the AGM and Dr. Freer’s presentation may arrive at 6:30 PM at no cost.
